Do I need planning permission?
It depends on the property and the work. Many lofts and extensions fall under permitted development, but flats, conservation areas and listed buildings often need permission. Check with your local council or designer.
Do I need a party wall agreement?
If work affects a shared wall or digs near a neighbour's foundations, the Party Wall Act may apply. A party wall surveyor can advise.
Who deals with building control?
We coordinate building control inspections during the build.
